As you walk down the hillside to the south of the property you reach a creek that parallels highway 1274 that is running north. This is Barn Hollow Creek. |
| The water is very clean and crisp. I would approximate the flow to be approximately 3 gallons per minute during the drought period we saw it. | ![]() |

The edges of the creek climb quickly to form the hills above. |
| This area was somewhat bog-like in nature. At this point we see
the merging of Barn Hollow Creek and Cave Brance Creek.

Down at the bottom of the hill the land flattens out quite a bit. This is rare to find. |
| There were many interesting rocks covered by moss and mountain laurel. You wonder where the plants can obtain their nutrition from growing out of rock alone. | ![]() |
